Mets didn't trade anyone for an old player who's playing 1/4 of a season. the Royals traded Gotay to the Mets when he was 23 years old ... you'd think the Royals would keep him since he's gonna be the best player in MLB history.

and since you continue to think Castillo is an injury proned player, his fewest career games he's played in his career was in 2005 and that year he played 122 games. he had a .301 ba and a .391 obp ... something Gotay will never have.
