Either way Church has been amazing this year, our best player thus far. Hopefully he can keep it up.

Most of us, including me looked dumb in that thread.


When I first heard of the trade, I was angry because we sold low on Milledge. We had a chance to get Manny, Oswalt, and Zito for this guy in the past 2 years, but at the time, we ended up with a part time OFer and a good catcher, not Manny, Oswalt, or Zito type impact was foreseen out of Church and Schneider.

That said, Church has proven his value since, and Schneider is great with our staff. Great trade.
