he seems like a good guy, but it just hasnt worked out. the problem is that he couldnt get any of his breaking stuff called for strikes consistently.

when he has a 6 era, how can you not go with guys like pelfrey or humber who are bound to be around 6 or under? we've seen this cat's act- we know what he can do, but pelfrey and humber cant be worse than a 6era.

if this means pelfrey or humber gets another shot im all for it, they cant be much worse than what lawrence has given us each start.

Just for the record, I thougth Lawrence pitched adequitly. He gave us a chance to win every game. Didn't pitch well, but for a call up / 5th starter, he did OK. He never gave up so many runs that we were out of it. I can live with what he did.

but, I'm glad Pelf is in the rotation now over Lawrence.
Bill Clinton slept with an intern. A consenting adult and he got impeached and nearly disbarred as a result. Donald Trump went to parties showcasing underaged women brought in as basically prostitutes, and he says it's nothing.

Double standard?

He was the equivalent of Traschel really, pitched decent enough to keep us in the game but no one liked him. I doubt there is anyone here that wanted him over the likes of Pelfrey or Humber really.
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.
