Pelf pitched kinda ugly today 10 hits in 5 innings, - and I didn't realize he had such a tendency to hit batters. 11 career hit batters in 81 career innings. That's quite a few.

but at least he's likely to pick up his 2nd win.

and
We should definitly let Pelf pitch next time we face the yankees - and hope he's wild that day. :D

That being said - a win is a win is a win is a win is a win, and it looks like this will be a win.

Philly is loosing too - boy their hot run turned sour fast.
Bill Clinton slept with an intern. A consenting adult and he got impeached and nearly disbarred as a result. Donald Trump went to parties showcasing underaged women brought in as basically prostitutes, and he says it's nothing.

pelfrey should of had a much better game then stats showed.sure he got in trouble with walks, hit batters but he had so many damn ground balls, he should of been out of innings earlier and he broke at least 4 more bats this start. this is a great sign of him having a heavy heavy sinker and his off speed stuff, his slider was good today but not as good as it was last time out against the braves

I agree - for this year, but I'd like to see both of them next season. Milledge has some pop in his bat.

I think Philly is all but done... for the division. Who do you guys want to see win the Wild Card? Call me nuts, but I'd like to face the Pods. I want to CRUSH Milton Bradley, the doof.

Anyway, one more win for another series win...

You're crazy, no way do I want to face the Padres. Peavy, Young, Padres bullpen, and the Mets killer Khalil Greene. :nonono:

I want to face the Diamondbacks ... that is if they don't win the division. I have a lot of respect for the Diamondbacks and I enjoy watching them but outside of Webb they got nothing. Their team is filled with young kids and if you throw Pedro, El Duque, and Glavine at them they'll toy with the inexperienced young Diamondbacks.

Won the game 3-1 and finally looking like the team we were supposed to be all year. Glavine tossed a gem today.
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.
