I just want to see Pelfrey continue the good from his last start and I'll be happy.

Pelfrey clearly shouldnt be in the majors right now. I love this kid's potential but it's pretty clear that he can't get his breaking pitches over for strikes. He needs to adjust the way he grips the ball to because as Ron said, hitters can read what pitch he is going to throw.

Should have went with Vargas. It's like Pelfrey went back to the pitcher he was last season as soon as he won the 5th starting spot.

enough with Pelfrey

the guy was so hyped to begin the year but he has nothing to get major league hitters out when he needs to

It's because he's nervous and not relaxed out there. In spring training he was lights out in his first five starts with an exploding fastball and excellent control. In his bullpen sessions Peterson and Willie say he's been great, but for some reason he's not bringing it to the mound with him. It's mental!!!

And Willie should have played Beltran in this game because now we have a tough 3 games against SF. Should have sat Wright and not batted him third!
