I agree.

K-Rod is there long term, and Mejia is a top prospect.

You guys also are destitute for another starter, and if you can stretch out his arm, he can be ready in June.

Very bad decision by the Mets, imo.

no he won't be ready in june ... the most innings he's ever pitched is 94, he's supposed to be pitching 140 innings this year and then next year he can pitch 190-200 as a starter.

it's a shame mets fans won't ever see a pitcher who's changeup hits 90 mph, curveball that hits 85, and fastball/cutter/splitter/sinker that goes between 94-100 mph

he has freaking 30 groundball outs and 10 flyball outs this spring ... add that up as a starter for 6-7 innings.
