After the Mets' 2-1 loss to the Florida Marlins tonight in a three-hour, 31-minute marathon at Citi Field, general manager Sandy Alderson announced several moves.
The club recalled second baseman Ruben Tejada from Triple-A Buffalo and activated pitcher Pedro Beato (right elbow tendinitis) off the disabled list.
Alderson said the plan is for Tejada to play on a somewhat regular bases, thus the team will likely move Justin Turner to third base.
