"In a post to Twitter, Bob Klapisch of the Bergen Record says the Mets have yet to repay the $25 million loan which was extended to them by Major League Baseball last year.
However, according to Klapisch, Bud Selig isn’t worried about it and, according to Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports, the Mets are seeking an “alternative financing plan.”

I'm not sure if this means anything, but it doesn't sound very good. However, hearing Bud Selig isn't worried about it is reassuring. It seems like the Madoff case isn't going to hurt the Mets as first thought, but we have to see what happens with and how much it will hurt the Mets owners.
