Mets shut down Wright (Diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis)

They are going to shut him down for another week and see how it goes. But it doesn't look good. It can force early retirement.
So David Wright in the short term plans is a no go, imo.

Alderson said this injury should be manageable, but this is the same guy who thought Wheeler's injury was no big deal.

Feel bad for the dude. Was one of the good guys. Always works hard and is a good leader. Body is just starting to fail him. Hopefully he is able to bounce back
