Damnit screw you Jim Duquette!!!

who?

no .... don't say screw you Jim Duquette but say thank you to him ... if it wasn't for this horrible trade then the Mets wouldn't of fired him and hired Omar Minaya. And if the Mets didn't hire Omar Minaya the Mets wouldn't have Lo Duca, Wagner, Beltran, Martinez, etc. So if it wasn't for that horrible trade this franchise wouldn't have fired the front office and brought in smarter people.

Kazmir is in the past ... it wasn't Zambrano's fault he was injured when he came here nor is it his fault he wasn't as good as Kazmir ... it's Duquette's fault but I thank him for his stupidity. With that said Zambrano made it back and is with the Blue Jays ... good luck Zambrano.

I dont believe in that non sense.

He would have been a foundation and would have thrived in NY.

100/1 we would have hired a new GM after that dreadful season anyway.

No way, I cant.

The only good thing I can say about Jim Duquette is that he gave us John Maine for nothing.

Jose7 did you post in the Knicks forum under a different name?

I'm with Major - this is a terrible thread.

That trade was one of the worst ever - it was right up there with giving away Rod (soon to be an allstar) Strickland for Mo (nice player but 36 years old) Cheeks.

As good as the mets are now - the Kaz trade still hurts - it's hard for me to wish the guy well, cause we basically gave him away for nothing. - so I try not to think about him - cause it's not Kazmir's fault he was traded, and it's stupid to hate him - so I try not to think about him.

and yeah - I wish we still had him now. God dammmn. :banghead:

even if we win 100 games this year, I'll still miss Kazmir, I probably will for years.

The thread is foolish but if it continues to garner interest then that shows where people still dwell. We have Pelfrey and Humber, we have Martinez, Gomez, Milledge among great young players in Wright and Reyes. Why be caught up on Kazmir?

The only thing this thread will garner is a lot of anger. Why in the world would a Mets fan even start a thread like this??? Who the **** cares about Scott Kazmir?!?!?!?!?

I'd much rather have an official Oliver Perez thread.

Kazmir has been balling here in Florida. The games he throw are actually the only Rays games I keep on. A Left-handed strike-out pitcher who just turned 23.....definitely something every team wishes they had. Oh wait...Devil rays and Marlins already do.

Doesn't matter if both are stuck on bad teams.

I wish him well... He's a great pitcher.
