Alex Rodriguez

Post#1 » by FlightNo.23 » Thu Apr 5, 2007 6:47 pm

I know this is looking pretty far ahead, but he could very well opt out after this season. So what about him in a Mets Uniform?

And what would you guys think about Reyes moving back to 2B (He said he would glady accomodate AROD by moving to 2B)?

I thought you were going to follow the title with, "Is queer." The Mets could adopt the military's policy - DON'T ASK DON'T TELL.

But to answer your question, no way in hell Reyes moves again. Gay-Rod would have to catch. Or is he a pitcher

HELLLLLL NO.

No room for him or his 200M dollar contract he'll likely recieve.

Are you kidding me?

Jose Reyes>>>>>>>>>>>>A-Rod.

MUCH better defensive player, is electric whether he's at bat, in the field, or running the bases.

And I believe it was David Wright who said he'd move to second to accomodate Crap-Rod, not Reyes.

Also if we're paying someone 20 mil per season, let it be Johan Santana. Oh and we have 2 offensive studs on the way in Carlos Gomez and Fernando Martinez. Who needs ARod??? Not us!

Honestly this might be the craziest thing I have ever typed, but I dont want A-Rod on this team. For all of his natural talents and being the best baseball player over the past decade I dont want him to bring everything he has to offer. Off field problems alone wont mesh with the team vibe that we have now.

Give the money to a pitcher and not Arod.

NO.

he had his chance to come here ('00... right?), but decided that money was more important.

funny how thinking back what COULD have been if he did come here. But the idea of not having reyes is something i can no longer accept when thinking about a-rod what ifs.

maybe 2-3 years ago when we were in the dumps i wished everyday/night that arod signed with us.

now, hes just another yankee.

What's so funny? Most teams would take Reyes over A-Rod.

You can keep your huge contracts and bloated egos in the Bronx.

Suge was probably at Yankee Stadium last night all angry, freezing his butt off and booing A-Rod. And Suge has the cajones to laugh at me because I suggest Reyes>>>>>>>>>A-Rod. I bet the majority of Yankee fans would rather have Reyes, even Suge!

Who needs Reyes when we have the stumbling and bumbling Jeter? I mean look at the past, LOOK at the FRICKIN past. Seriously though there are maybe like a few selected players Id take over Reyes. Jeter or Arod are not on that list at all.

ARod was en route to being one of the, if not the, best shortstops of all time before he came to the Bronx and got moved to 3rd. Age, upside, and contract mean you can make a good case for teams taking Reyes over ARod, but let's see Reyes actually have a season resembling what ARod's done before you start saying he's the better player.
