I love what Castro is doing, but still Lo Duca is the best second hitter we have on this team. You cant mess with what he does for Reyes...

I love LoDuca and he should get the majority of games. But i think Beltran batting 2nd would be amazing. LoDuca is basically giving away a out to get Reyes over. Beltran is not giving away an out and instead of being up 1-0 , 2 out and nobody on, it could be 1-0, no outs Beltran on 2nd with our big hitter coming up. Did you watch the Florida game when after Reyes got on, Beltran was up next...that was beautiful. Having them 2 at the top would be amazing.

I still like LoDuca playing most games but i want him batting lower in the order.

There's a lot to be said for Reyes 1st, Beltran 2nd, Wright 3rd, DelGado 4th, Alou 5th - the team may work towards that next year or play with it this year. Those are 5 scary hitters.

But LoDuca deserves his props for what he's done, and he's no slouch at the plate either.
Bill Clinton slept with an intern. A consenting adult and he got impeached and nearly disbarred as a result. Donald Trump went to parties showcasing underaged women brought in as basically prostitutes, and he says it's nothing.

Double standard?
