Xman, Xavier Nady for Oliver Perez, a rental set up man who righted Heilman and since we let him go in FA a compensation draft pick.

So

nady

for

Perez
draft pick

what a gm  . I wish Isiah was half as good as Omar.

Well you know how tough I am on my teams players, owners, and gm's but, I have to say, I'm in love with Omar Minaya. Yes I am a proud Omar Minaya nutrider. I completely and fully trust this man with whatever moves he makes. Whats great is, the Mets are so awesome at just the right time because Isiah and Dolan have destroyed my Knicks.

What about his recent pickup from the Padres organization. I thinks his name is Hamilton? He's killing them in N.O. He may be of use sometime this year. Omar is a genius 8)

Hamilton? Do you mean the same Hamilton that was released from the Mets organization after he was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence?

The same Brian Lawrence who missed all of last year because of shoulder surgery and I quote
He spent parts of five major league seasons with the San Diego Padres from 2001-05 but hasn't pitched in a major league game since going 7-15 in 2005

/\/\/\/\/\ That being said do you think Omar would trade a reliever for Karstens/Rasner if you guys need a pitcher the end of July?

I guess...He's doing work down in AAA. I guess his surgically repaired arm is as good as new. This is the type of reclamation project Omar is good at.

Omar and Cashman won't be doing business any time soon. Before he trades for a Karsten/Rasner type, he would call up Humber or whomever is doing well at AAA at the time. Omar probably has his eyes on bigger fish at the deadline, i.e, Carlos Zambrano or Willis.
