LETS GO METS!! Need to win this series..
Tuesday, May 22 Purchase Tickets Turner Field | 7:35 PM ET
NYM Jorge Sosa, RHP (3-0, 2.25)
Mets (28-15) @ ATL Kyle Davies, RHP (1-2, 5.17)
Braves (26-18)
Scouting Report:
Mets: Sosa had his best start of the season on Wednesday against the Cubs, becoming the fifth pitcher in Mets history to win his first three starts with the club. He relied heavily on a quirky slider that has three different breaks, allowing just one hit in seven innings. Sosa will face his former team, Atlanta, for the second time in his career, losing the first meeting despite allowing only one run in six innings.
Braves: If not for the four unearned runs he surrendered in the fifth inning of Wednesday night's game against the Nationals, Davies would likely have won a second straight start. He has shown improved control in his past three outings, and he believes he has finally found a good feel for his changeup. He limited the Mets to two solo homers in 6 2/3 innings on April 8.

NYM Oliver Perez, LHP (5-3, 2.90)
Mets (28-15) @ ATL Chuck James, LHP (4-3, 4.15)
Braves (26-18)
Scouting Report:
Mets: Perez pitched 7 2/3 brilliant innings against the Yankees in a 3-2 win on Friday at Shea Stadium. The left-hander showed plenty of emotion as he struck out five and walked two in the victory. Perez surrendered two runs as his record improved to 5-2 and his ERA settled at 2.90. In his career against Atlanta, Perez owns a 3-2 record and 3.25 ERA in eight starts.
Braves: James struggled to keep his changeup down while allowing three earned runs and eight hits in 5 1/3 innings against the Nationals on Thursday. Just five days earlier, he

I've had this series circled on my calendar for a long time. Although it's not important for us to sweep, we must take 2 of 3 to make a statement. We should be able to handle Davies and James, the question is whether Sosa and Perez will continue their impressive pitching...

We gotta' win this series against them, man! I don't want to be their bitches forever...

Hopefully Green catches the ball this time. He's already blown 2 games against the Braves with his shoddy defense. We should have won 4 out of 6 against them.
Go Sosa!
