Please, we need 2/3... LGM!!

Friday, June 8 Purchase Tickets Comerica Park | 7:05 PM ET
NYM Jorge Sosa, RHP (5-1, 3.22)
Mets (35-23) @ DET Chad Durbin, RHP (5-1, 4.75)
Tigers (34-25)

Scouting Report:
Mets: Sosa allowed just one run in 6 2/3 innings against the Diamondbacks on Saturday, earning his fifth win in the process. In five of his last six starts, the right-hander has allowed two earned runs or less, and he's pitched at least six innings in four of those six. Sosa has pitched five career games against Detroit -- starting two -- and holds a 9.00 ERA in 11 innings.

Tigers: Durbin hasn't lost in 10 starts since his first outing of the season, a streak that continued despite five runs allow

Saturday, June 9 Purchase Tickets Comerica Park | 3:55 PM ET
NYM Oliver Perez, LHP (6-4, 2.80)
Mets (35-23) @ DET Jeremy Bonderman, RHP (5-0, 3.27)
Tigers (34-25)

Scouting Report:
Mets: Perez did little wrong for a fifth straight start on Sunday, but a banged-up offense couldn't support him in an eventual 4-1 loss. Perez pitched seven innings of three-run ball, but three walks directly led to two runs -- the first time the lefty had walked more than two batters since May 2. Detroit is one of seven teams he's never faced in his career.

Tigers: Bonderman is the first Tigers pitcher to go unbeaten in his first 10 starts to a season since Joe Sparma in 1967, but Bonderman's season has really been a split. After suffering from lack of run support in five no-decisions to begin the season, Bonderman has won each of his last five starts, including three strong outings since coming back from the disabled list. He lost his only appearance against the Mets in 2004. He's a .500 pitcher since '04 in Interleague Play.

Sunday, June 10 Purchase Tickets Comerica Park | 1:05 PM ET
NYM Tom Glavine, LHP (5-3, 3.36)
Mets (35-23) @ DET Andrew Miller, LHP (1-0, 0.00)
Tigers (34-25)

Scouting Report:
Mets: Glavine has gone three starts since gaining his 295th victory against the Yankees May 19. For the second time this season he has gone three starts without a victory. In the other instance, he had three no-decisions. He has two losses and a no-decision since beating the Yankees. He has five no decisions, two victories and two losses in his nine most recent starts. The Mets have won five of them. His ERA in his last three starts is 3.15.

Tigers: The rookie Miller, chosen sixth overall in last year's draft, will get his third promotion to the Major Leagues and his second start of the season in place of struggling Nate Robertson. Miller, 22, was 0-1 with a 6.10 ERA in eight relief appearances last season. In his first career start, he worked six shutout innings in a 14-4 victory over St. Louis on May 18. Miller gave up four hits and three walks against the Cardinals, striking out two during a 94-pitch effort. Miller will be recalled from Double-A Erie, where he is 2-0 with a 0.59 ERA after four starts for the SeaWolves. He will be facing the Mets for the first time in his career.

Sosa was brilliant.

Utterly **** brilliant.

Now, the game is in Willie's hands.

If we lose now, its all his fault.

*Stnads up and applauses*

This Sosa guy is AMAZING. His slider is sick and he spots his FB well. I say let him stay in for the CG.
