Why the hell is Shawn Green hitting 2nd?
Why is LoDuca in most RBI situations?
Why is Heilman stinking it up?
Why is Mota and Shoeneweis on the team?
Why is Beltran not playing like Beltran?

Why the hell is Shawn Green hitting 2nd? shake things up? he's not terrible there.
Why is LoDuca in most RBI situations? because he's bating 6th for some odd reason
Why is Heilman stinking it up? because he's a complete a**hole.
Why is Mota and Shoeneweis on the team? mota deserves more time to get into a rythem. shoenweis=idk.
Why is Beltran not playing like Beltran? injury i'm assuming.

we neeeeeed lastings!

hey the only thing i disagree with is Green. He could be a 2nd hitter...if he was on the Yankee lineup. But we need him to drive in some runs. LoDuca needs to be there, even if only to help Reyes.

Beltran has been terrible lately. His average took a plunge and hes only hitting singles. I really hope he is injured and not just dogging it out there. That would get me pissed.

Lastings needs to get better quickly.

beltran defintely just looks bored out there. i'm happy to see david wright say something after the game though.

green isn't bad at the #2. but i completely agree with lo duca being up there.

"We need to step it up," said third baseman David Wright, who had two of the Mets' five hits, extending his hitting streak to 14 games with a first-inning single that was also the 500th hit of his career. "It's getting to the point now where it's beyond a little slump. It's beyond a little rut. We need to step it up and play the type of baseball that we're capable of. This isn't us. This isn't what we're about. We're getting to the point where guys, including myself, need to step it up and get the job done."
