I refuse to give up young talent such as gomez or milledge for middle aged, above average 9+mil MLB pitchers. First of all, all these knuckleheads will call in asking for gomez + hielman or one of our younger pitchers down low with guys like milledge and gomez paired. That is way too much to pay for guys who are 28+ who are at best 3rd or 2nd rated pitchers.

the only way we should consider trading is if a) pedro is not come back in pedro form b) pedro has setbacks c) our slump continues into allstar break.

i have a thing for harden and some younger guys. if someone approached us with a young pitcher (harden/willis) i will listen if they want milledge or gomez, but if they want to shove off guys who are 30 and mediocre, please- we aint that desperate, and we arent the yankees.

I agree, however I would trade milledge for a guy like Buehrle though.
But thats it, the only I would trade both gomez and milledge is if i get a Teixeira, or Cabrera in return.

I like Harden a lot but he is always injured. I dont know if he can stay healthy for a full season. I always liked Haren though. I would give up milledge and humber for haren. Although I dont know if Oakland accept that one.
