Uhh... We have the best record in the Nl

Post#1 » by Jose7 » Tue Jul 24, 2007 9:56 pm

Even with all of our struggles, missing our set up man, missing our Ace, missing Beltran for a portion of the season, missing Chavez, missing Alou.

I feel good about August, September and October.

Thats been the feeling all along, that when Alou and Pedro get back to the team that we would be a-ok. However the performance of Beltran and Delgado this year really makes me think we were better last year.

Either way we need to rake in on the next two series considering who we are playing. We should be fine down the stretch baring a major meltdown.

More good news, we signed our first overall selection Eddie Kunz.

Also, Reyes and Wright play their 400th game together today.

I dont think htat's the case. I thinkt he playing field is so leveled everyone is beating up on each other.

the NL is deep this year i think actually.

NL East got the Mets, Phillies and Braves. Of course you can't take the Phils to seriously, and the braves need another SP, but they aren't walk overs.

NL Central really only got the Brewers. But the Cubs/Cardinals aren't too bad.

NL West got Dodgers, Padres, and Arizona. Padres/Dodgers are one or two bats away from being real champ contendors. Arizona isn't bad.

The difference between the NL and AL is that the AL has two great teams (Sox and Tigers) and from there has very good teams. NL only has very good/good teams at the top (mets could be great...but they aren't)
