I love this guy! What a great pickup. The only guy I'd choose over Castillo is Brian Roberts because of his age and speed.

but i don't think castillo will help all that much...
Castillo stabilizes the position
Funny what was said a week ago till now.
In due time will this thread will actually be needed. Castillo will prove more valuable then most originally thought.

I thought it was a stupid deal at first before it was announced who we gave up. I was thinking Mulvey was going to go and disliked it but when it was announced Buttera and Martin I was happy with it.

Hell yeah, I love his emotion some Carlos Softran hasnt shown since he's been a met. Ahhh so beautiful watching him and Reyes turn a DP.

Did they forget how the Marlins dominated and disrupted with Pierre and Castillo at 1 & 2?

People just wanted Gotay to stay in the lineup. It's great we got to keep both.

^Ok, I can understand that. I like Gotay too, but defense was beginning to be a concern at that position.
