Wow, the Mets are 8-18 at home against the NL east and haven't won a series at home against the division since the first series of the entire season. That's a mind boggling stat. It says a lot that they're still in 1st place, getting the job done on the road is key.

Well the Braves and Phillies keep missing out on there chances really. Braves should be in first place easily, however they always lose the series they need to win. They got swept by the Reds a few weeks ago, and now the Braves and Phils are beating up eachother its good for us.

But Wright said it best, has a team ever won the division without being able to beat the second place team?

Wow, lets load the bases for Miggy and let him beat us. How the hell do you hit the pinch hitter and then walk a guy right in front of Miguel **** Cabrera....

He would rather play a good team and lose, instead of beating up on a bad team and winning the world series.

Oh man, it might start unraveling soon with all these injuries. We HAVE to capitalize on the 'weaker' part of our sched.
