... there was already speculation since last years deadline about us being interested in Conine, it's not some big surprise. Trying to credit yourself for something so small. :nonono:

He is used to hitting off the bench, so at least thats somewhat of a plus. Playoff experience is nice, and for only two A pitchers you cant go wrong.

Castro and Henry were traded for him. I liked Henry but not really a big deal to me, Conine is a guy who is going to help contribute in big spots.

Nice addition.

Conine is a 2 time WS champion, and should bring plenty of veteran and playoff leadership/experience to a contender as he has done twice already with the Marlins.

It's just weird seeing Castillo as a Met, and now Conine, too. lol
