Probably making one more start in the minors then will start against the Astros.

im very impressed.
I like that hes transitioning from a strikeout pitcher to a groundout pitcher. its good that he realizes his longevity lies in his ability to produce outs, much like successful pitchers like wang, webb and others in todays game. its truly great to see guys put stock into making OUTS and not trying to strike out 20.
no offense to yankee fans, but guys like clemens who can throw stuff by people anymore just arent as effective as they used to be because they havent changed their pitching mantality.
im very encouraged that pedro now has a sinker and others in his arsenal. hes a gamer. i dont care about his velocity, i want him to make outs and to fool hitters.
very exciting to see the new pedro.

Pedro has a sinker now? Sweet. Greatest pitcher ever.

I heard that he had problems with his first 20 pitches with his control, can you confirm or dispute that? Either way he will only be needed for 5-6 innings, if you are expecting anything more that id rethink. Either way he gets rid of Lawerence and thats something we really need...

good to hear but pitching isn't really helping us now.

Look at Pedro going all Frank Tanana. Good for him.
Most dominant pitcher ever.

say what? if we can start getting 7 innings from the starters more often it'll put less of a strain on the bullpen. the offense will get hot and slump but the pitching needs to be there constantly. pitching always helps.

A Mets/Boston World Series would be fun to watch.

Pedro at his prime was a mixture of power and location. His 4 -seamer will never have that 92-95 mph range anymore. However I can still see him being very effective with his off - speed pitches. Especially that circle change.
