this morning on mike and mike(i believe) they were discussing this...so now im curious as to what everyone thinks of david possibly winning mvp.

other candiates imo

ramirez/cabrera/utley/holliday/fielder

lets compare #s now:

Wright:

.316 avg 26 hr 91 rbi .410 obp .533 slg .945 ops 30 sb

Ramirez:

.333 avg 24 hr 67 rbi obp .390 .562 slg .952 ops 46 sb

Cabrera:

.315 avg 31 hr 91 rbi .394 obp .574 slg .968 ops 1 sb

Utley:

.341 avg 18 hr 90 rbi .421 obp .578 slg .999 ops 8 sb

Holliday:

.334 avg 25 hr 110 rbi .394 obp .568 slg .962 ops 9 sb

Fielder:

.285 avg 41 hr 102 rbi .384 obp .605 slg .989 ops 0 sb

up against those #s and players what chances would you give mr wright?

Forget the rest, their team sucks.

It's between Fielder, Wright, and God himself(Braun)

One of the Phillies three should be included. Hanley and Miggy probably have no shot since their team sucks and their numbers are not blowing everybody else out the water. I think he has a great shot to get it, but knowing the voters they probably will give it to Fielder.

Yeah, Ryan Howard is definitely in the conversation again. I think Wright has a decent shot. Especially if we finish hot, the Phils tank the rest of the way, and the Brewers fade as well.

his numbers are inflated by CBP.

i'd vote for wright even if i weren't a mets fan. if fielder wins it, then we'll know that the MVP award should be called the "most home runs" award.
