Yeah its to that point where this is not even fun anymore. The fact that no lead is big enough and no amount of runs is good enough. We are limping into the playoffs, our players must be able to make that flip of the switch.

positives: reyes looking like he's played baseball before; magic number down to 4!!

negs: can SOMEONE please pitch well consistently other than pedro?

if humber goes 6 and gives up 4 i think i'll be pleased. blah.

wow, getting swept by the nats.

this team should be **** ashamed.

I can honestly say, I dont care to see Joe Smith in a mets uniform agian.

he is TERRIBLE.

cant finish hitters or generate ground balls and every single inherrited runner scores on him.

he shouldnt have been in in the first place.. for once if you bashed willie here id have agreed either way this team is a joke when do the knicks start..

cant bash william today.

I didnt expect humber to pitch a shutout but he is a curve/fastball pitcher so I wasnt expecting more then 5 innings seeing as to how he doesnt have good command on that curve after not startig for 29 days.

It's sad, it really is.

I've been a Mets fan since the early 80s and I cant remember feeling this miserable in the final days of the season. Usually if they are loosing at least there's some silver lining. This is arguably the best team on paper I think we've had in the last 20 years, and they choked right before our eyes.
