that Pedro will pitch a gem tonight and John Schmoltz will defeat Philly for his boy Glavine. It says that we will win the division and go on to beat the Pads and Arizona and be in the World Series. Don't ask what happens after that .... :-?

Honestly there is a point where you can be a fan and always hope for the best for the team. However when do you reach the point where it becomes unbearable to watch? I mean its like why watch the fifth inning, you know there going to blow the lead. It seems like we dont have any more fun, thats what drives this team.

At this point Ill even take this kid to be our manager...

It starts tonight!! I can't believe that everyone on this 40-man roster won't dig deep and find what it takes to win the division and stave off embarassment

you know, there is a difference between losing

9-8 9-7 10-6 9-6 8-3 4-3

than getting blown out night after night.

this team has fight in them, im not worried at all. If I wasnt worried a month ago when it was down to 2.5 games and we were getting swept, no way I can turn around and get nervous..

full steam ahead.

Bartender, I'll have what he's having...

I am deathly worried. And even if we pull it out, it will still be somewhat hollow to me. We backed our way in, in effect. We'll have little momentum, and lots of questions/doubts heading into the postseason. I am very disappointed, no matter what happens.

On a separate note, I think Wright lost his MVP trophy with all these DP's he's been hitting...

yeah. rollins, holliday etc. haven't hit into any DP's since they were like 10 years old. how do they do that?????

Well the choke job is complete, now what??

I'm numb... I seriously dont think we can win 1 game against the Marlins, let alone three. This is the most disappointing season I've experienced in my 25+ years as a fan. So much talent gone to waste...

?! have you not noticed how many terrible pitchers throw gems against the mets? all the first pitch hackers (and there's a bunch) on this team get killed by crappy pitchers like this.
