If we could get him for 4 years / 38-44M I would definitely do this.

Past 4 years, dude has pitched close to or over 200 Innings in the AL. Perfect pitcher for this team as a #4 or so.

Carlos Silva is this years most overpaid pitcher mainly because of the market, he will get the biggest contract indeed. He has been solid, but the market price for him is outrageous and takes us out of the running.

ewww...89 Ks in 200 IP? not to mention he gave up 229 hits...if we aren't going to try to get a-rod we might as well spend the money on a GREAT pitcher, not a crappy one.

You can give up 200+ hits in 200+ Ip when you walk close to no one and only 20 long balls.

Crappy?

He'd be our #5 or #4 starter who does nothing but eat up innings.HE pitched 200 innings onlyglavine did that for us last year.
