My thoughts so far...
Game 1:
Figgy looked great... mixed his fastball in well with about the other billions of pitches in his arsenal. He pitched in and out, up and down... it was a beauty to watch. I felt reallllllll confident when he went 1-2-3 in the 1st for like 8 pitches. If he can keep hitters guessing away from his fastball, we might have something here...
Face it guys... Heilman is either going to come in and dominate, or he is going to suck. I came to this conclusion a long time ago, but now I'm sure of it. How many times have we've seen Heilman over the last 2+ years come in, throw 10 pitches, 9 for strikes and 3Ks? I don't know what it is with this dude. But he is still extremely valuable. I cannot wait until Duaner comes back.. this bullpen is going to ROCK.
I know Chuch went 1-4 with 2 SO, but he got the big hit when it mattered, and he kept the inning going by moving delgado into 3third, almost guaranteeing that we score that 1 run there with no outs... He can hit, and has an monster arm in the outfield.
Pagan.. what is there to say....
Game 2:
Sheets vs Santana should be a bigggggg game. Hopefully we can score some runs behind Santana. It is going to be his first start at Shea so I wouldnt be surprised if he was a little shaky, but I trust the chemistry between Schneider and Santana.
Game 3:
IMO, this is a BIG start for Perez. We're either going to depend on him for the sweep, or 2 out of 3. If Perez has improved in the mental aspect, he'll show it here, and I think this is a big game for him. Teams want consistency out of Perez, and the question is if he can bring his A game for another good start.
