Good stuff Mo, I have always enjoyed reading your articles.

People tend to forget that he starts slow in April. As of now his ERA is rather high, but it will drop down entering May.

Yeah, his start wasn't even bad. His WHIP is something like 0.85 which is nasty and as you said, he's a slow starter and 3.25 would be considered good for everyone else...

Oh no doubt. I was talking in terms of Santana's standards. 3.25 is great and this might be his lowest April ERA in his career (assuming he's on this pace), but we know he can get his ERA to under 3. :)
