Oh dear. Veterans 'loafing'. Billy Boy calling out the team. The ship be sinking soon?
I'm going to have to start putting some of this on Omar. I LOVE that he got Santana. But our weaknesses are starting to show. We have no real leaders on this team. We need to get rid of Delgado sooner, rather than later. Wright needs to step up and start being more vocal. Aside from Billy Boy, no one else will.
That bad vibe I got from last season regarding the huge divide between the Latinos and non-Latinos on this squad is starting to simmer again. Something needs to be done. I don't know why they seem so uninspired...
While I liked Billy Boy speaking up, it shouldn't be the closer doing it. Plus he also rarely 'filters' what he says. He's very much a loose cannon at times. And please Billy, LOSE the Patriots cap!

i competely agree with getting rid of Delgado. Already he is 0-3 w. 2 SO against the Yanks. He's is not being paid all that money play the way he's playing. I say we should ship him and Heilman to Toronto for some Minor Leaguers. Then bring in Nady or Call up Abreu or Evans just to fill in.

Hopefully Ollie brings his A game tomorrow. A sweep of the Yanks will make me so happy. It also can carry over to the Braves series.

i think the problem with our team is that we are too old. the older guys on this team except Alou, aren't able to get on a solid streak.

Crap! Are we going to revert back to being the Braves' bitches?! I want a split...

Well, Church probably took out Escobar for tonight. If you can't beat 'em, hurt 'em.

In between crying like a girl, I read that Nick Evans is about to join the team.

I think the time to say bye-bye to Willie is close at hand. If he's not gone after his meeting with the Wilpons, he should be gone not soon after the Marlins series... if we lose it.

Whew, we needed that series win badly...

Nothing bothers me more then puns, I just hate them...

However with the next seven games going up against some weak pitching Im expecting the Mets to clean up a bit.
