The Philadelphia Daily News - The New York Mets are reportedly interested in first baseman Kevin Millar and outfielders Jason Bay and Xavier Nady, according to The Philadelphia Daily News.
General Manager Omar Minaya is interested in fortifying the team's roster with first baseman, leftfielders and righthanded relieve pitchers.
Should we really try to go after these guys? I like Nady, but i think Bay wouldn't fit and Millar is too old(even though he's still decent). If we get Nady or Millar then we'll have a guy to platoon with Delgado and LF. I just don't want to see us have to give up someone like Evans, Murphy, or Niese.
