We need help at the left field, and the guy is a power and clutch batter. I know he's had issue with his former teams but what's stopping Omar from getting him?
Would you want him on this team?

Jeff and Fred Wilpon are whats stopping us. Minaya has always been infatuated with Manny, if he cant sell him to the Wilpons then it aint happening. I dont mind Manny at all mainly because of what he brings to the table, however id get a little impatient if I was the Wilpons after the past two seasons. Win with what you have...

I like to think, if this was my baseball team, I'd invest in Lowe & Manny. That's a lot of cash, it might take 15 million to get lowe (3 years, 45, someting like that) and 20 million to get manny (3 years, 60 million)
that's 35 million, which puts the mets over what they spent last year by quite a bit.
But it's a monster team. Solid pitching, hitting and bullpen.
I think, Wilpon is watching what he spends and I don't think he likes Manny.
