Time for the Yanks to move on and use that money down the road to fill up other areas of the team. We're still in great shape if the arms develop like they are supposed to.

As far as the without ARod the Yanks wouldn't have made the playoffs, I don't think that is in the ball park. Yes he played well but someone else would have been in his spot if he wasn't there and the Yanks won the WC going away. While you can't pro-rate a guys performance, figure those at bats went to Shelley Duncan. He would have pro-rated out to something like 125 runs scored and 135 RBI. Obviously he probably doesn't do that but 85 and 95 aren't out of reach and we still lead the league in runs scored, which we won by 81 runs.
