does anyone think Arod is actually going to get a 300 million contract? I don't see him getting anything over 275 million.

I don't see him getting over 200

hi fellas!

im just trying to learn more bout the sport so can anyone please tell me if sign and trades are allowed in baseball? kinda like the sign and trades that they do in the NBA..

if so, i was wondering if you can just S&T A-rod to at least get someone in return.. just wondering..

No, sign and trades are definitely not allowed. I believe you need to wait atleast 3 months in the season to trade the player you just signed (somebody clarify the timetable for me), so sign and trades for all intents and purposes are not allowed.

We will get 2 draft picks for Arod, however.

Sheffield had a team option. That was picked up and he was traded with a 48 hour window for the Tigers to negotiate an extension. Which they did. So the deal went through. -Jitpal

no sign and trades for Arod huh.. hmmm.. well i hopes he just follows torre to the dodgers.. that way he can make a good pair of spoiled superstars together with kobe in hollywood...
