Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.

60 days on the DL? Choker? you're SN is A-rod by friend. Get out of here, seriously.

Andy Pettitte is the only pitcher in ML history who won 12 games in his first 9 years, so stick that in your pipe.

Andy Pettitte is also 18-7 career in the postseason, so stick that in your pipe.

He has also won 201 games in his career, and is also only 35.

So get out of here with your outlandish remarks.

I don't ride Pettitte's jock like many other Yankee fans, but where exactly is this coming from? Andy Pettitte is one of the most durable pitchers of his generation..

In this 13 year career, Pettitte has had two seasons with under 30 stars, 2002 with the Yankees and 2004 with the Astros. At what point was he every put on the 60 day DL except for 2004? Has he spent 60 days on the DL in his career? Maybe that's what he meant. mahalo

I hope your hero signs with the Red Sox so that you can take the nonsense you talk elsewhere.

celtic man i like you and all...but wins may be the worst way to evaluate a pitcher's skill. everyone knows pettite's good...prove it using worthwhile stats :)

Ok, go grab a DVD of game 2 of this years ALDS, or the other handful of great postseason starts he's made in his career.

Forget Cabrera...
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/b ... index.html

Specifically from the Yankees, it is believed the Marlins seek either Chamberlain or Hughes, plus outfielder Melky Cabrera, outfield prospect Jose Tabata and a fourth prospect. Meanwhile, the Yankees are telling people they would not consider parting with their two best pitching prospects in a deal for anyone other than Minnesota Twins ace Johan Santana.
