Let's go after him . If you look at the mets offer of gomez, humber and heilman that's an easy one to beat by us. If it's a two team race of us and the mets we can easily beat them and get him for little too.

itll never work. Baltimore wont trade him to us with out a crazy bounty cause we are in the same divison

No you won't, because they are asking for a lot for him. They asked the Dodgers to give them Matt Kemp, James Loney or Andy LaRoche plus Jonathan Broxton.

I'd rather sacrifice quality for durability. Bedard has been in this league for how many years... and how many 200 inning seasons does he have under his belt? We need a horse in this rotation .

I have a hard time getting excited about the options behind Santana. These guys are available for a reason.

well the giants seem to keep offering Tim Lincecum to teams how about him?

Why waste time with him? If we want a young potential ace we already have at least two and at least one of them would have to go to make that trade happen. If we are going to sacrifice one our potential aces it should be for a proven one and no one else.
