Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.

I'm glad he got traded. Didn't really feel like getting ripped off giving Hughes n Melky for him. Hopefully they would of been smart enough to turn that down but w.e

Arizona is gunna have a real nice 1,2 punch though.

Yah Arizona is gonna have a good rotation going with Webb, Haren, Micah Owings, Doug Davis, and Randy Johnson [if Rj can pitch and not be a bum like he was for the yankees]. thats a pretty GOOD NL rotation

kinda wish we tok owings instead of Viz in the Rj trade.

Wow so far I might be the only one who wishes we could have gotten Haren. Besides look at the crap they gave for him. 2 good prospects and 4 sub par guys(ie: projects)? I was thinking a rotation of Wang, Haren, Petitte, Joba, and either Kennedy or Hughes which every they wouldnt have traded for Haren would have made a really nice rotation. Also Harens smaller contract buys time to see exactly where hes at career wise. Johan is obviously on the downside of his career, and we would have had to throw serious cash at him up front. I gotta say I think Haren might have been a mistake not to look at more seriously.
