Farnsworth Fixed?

Post#1 » by Jitpal » Sun Mar 16, 2008 9:11 pm

I was listening to today's game on the radio earlier and Waldman was talking about Farnsworth. Specifically, she said that he told her that Eiland found a hitch in his delivery. They fixed it. Which is why he has been good in spring training. Anyone have any more details on this?

This could be huge if he they fixed him. Shutdown 7th-9th with him, Joba and Mo. Plus he is in a contract year. -Jitpal

Farnsworth has had many hitches in his delivery that have been fixed over his career, yet he always returns to his common denominator, that of suckage. Maybe he'll get lucky and have a career year but he's still Kyle Farnsworth and he's still a mediocre pitcher.

If he could have 4 days off between outings he would be a dominant setup guy, problem is....he can't have 4 days off between outings

It'll be interesting to see if having his former catcher as his new manager will help him.
