I have no problem with it, just like I have no problem with Papelbon and K-rod's antics.

I have no problem, he ususally does it with his back to the player anyway.. It is no worse than manny standing at home plate like a jackass posing after a HR.. but since he is perceived as a complete and utter idiot, it is ok..... whatever...

Also every player has his antics, just like that junkballer lee last night, after every scoreless inning he goes running off the field in almost a full sprint.. what a moron.... Lets see if he does that after a 4 run inning.. and believe me, he has some comming this year....

He was 4th in voting in 2005.

yea, with no first place votes.. Our reliever mariano rivera got 8 first place votes and finished second... BTW.. kevin milwood, Buehrle and Garland also finished pretty much where lee finished... nothing special... they had no first place votes.. they were not even in the running.. In other words 4th place is pretty much the same as 14th place when you don't get a first place vote......

he must have been a Reeeeeeal Dark horse.... LOL..

Exactly. It says more about how weak the field was that year that he finished 4th.

For the record, Mo should have won the Cy Young that year.

Lee had an averagish season that year marked by a good (lucky) ERA and the average BBWAA member's favorite crappy metric: WINS! There is nothing over his career that explains what he is doing now. By all indications, he's kept the ball down, landed some K's, and has shown exceedingly good control.

The Cy Young was rightfully Santana's.
