no, not worth the headache. Plus I don't like him and would have a really hard time rooting for him. I'd rather see Gardner play everyday.

Also what happened to Shelley Duncan?

Shelley just got injured in the minors, apparently.

Before Matsui got hurt, I would have said no. But now, I'm so on the Bonds bandwagon. He's willing to play for the league minimum, for Christ's sake. You'd all get over your high horsedness once you watch ARod/Bonds/Giambi go to work as the Yanks' 3/4/5.

I would love to have Bonds as a DH. At the mimimum he is more than worth it. Bring in Barry Babe!

Not a chance. For a couple of reasons. This team has enough distractions as it is and adding Bonds would only increase those. It isn't like Bonds would work to deflect them either, his reputation with the media suggests he would only make them worse. Also, we need a right handed bat, not left handed. He lowers our flexibility even more on the base paths, as it is no one can run outside of Gardner, Damon, Jeter, Abreu and Arod. We don't need more station to station guys. He also isn't in baseball shape. I could keep going, it just doesn't make sense.

Let's not forget, with the all second guessing regarding the Manager and GM, I highly doubt they would entertain such a controversial move. -Jitpal

No, we have enough aging, overrated big name sluggers.
