well i watched the first 20 mins....i didnt catch the name of the substance he said he took
but otherwise, he stated how often he took it
his cousin injected him, but he wouldnt identify the cousin
thanked his teammates

I think he did fine. People will nit pick about certain wording like they always do with ARod, but in reality he offered up everything (as far as we know). He stated what he used, when he used it, why he used it, how he took it, where he got it from, who got it for him, etc. I don't know what else you want from the guy unless you think he is just lying about things. The only way to move on from this would be to say as much as possible to leave no doors open to be questioned, and I hope he did enough to accomplish that. Now lets focus on baseball.

Re: arod interview
I doubt he did enough to silence the critics and the media. He had a lot of holes in his story and he really didn't come off as very genuine. He was trying to pull an Andy and fess up early but he's in for a rude awakening. This isn't some random pitcher we're talking about, it's a guy who is on track to shatter one of the most hallowed records in the game. The media is going to be all over his history, his contacts, his family (esp. his cousins) and his story like white on rice - they'll take the inconsistencies and pull and prod at them until we get the whole truth. I just pray that they turn up a bunch of dead ends so this will end and we can get back to baseball.
And personally, while I couldn't care less about steroids, I think he was lying through his teeth. He knew damn well what he put in his system and it wasn't some cutesy-nicknamed steroid and ephedra. This has damage control written all over it.
