I am prepared to accept the fact that it is not worth meeting Toronto's ridiculous asking price for Roy Halladay.
I am not prepared for Brian Cashman looking to bring in Oliver Perez 2.0 in the form of Ian Snell. Sure Snell can strike a lot of guys out but his ERA is ghastly. Why **** around? If you're going to swindle the Pirates (again) do it the Atlanta Braves way and rob them of some one decent. Someone like Zach Ducke.
You don't have to give the Pirates anything more than 4 low level prospects and they will bite. Why? Cause the Pirates are about quantity and not quality, something the Jays refused to back from.
