wow, burnett pitches 6 innings and strikes out twelve and we can't give him more than 2 runs.. then phil coke comes in and gives up a 3 run homer... 2 three run homers are going to do us in today..

boston can be within 5 games with a win tonight if we lose.. and it seems like we are going to drop this one...

I see leaks in the yankee ship...

our pitching was awful for the better part of this series...... losing this series to the rangers was a no-no, and watch we struggle with the white sox who are getting owned by boston.. Boston is not out of the AL division race at all the way we are playing!!

Yep, watch the White Sox play like world beaters in New York this weekend while they bent down for the Red Sox all week...

well so far, our 6 game lead looks safe.. white sox up 8-0 in the 4th inning.... if we can take the series this weekend maybe we can push the lead back up to 7 or more... lord knows some of our 30 somethings on this team can use the rest..

A wasted performance from AJ Burnett who was stellar outside of ONE fatal pitch. I think what really deflated the momentum was Phil Captain n Coke who served up a fat one to put the game out of reach. That guy's inning limit might be reached, he's been as awful as Bruney for the past few appearances.

Luckily Boston lost so the Yanks lead remains @ 6 games.
