There hasn't been much news at all this year, for a number of reasons. Seems like many think the top notch talent isn't there this year, so the best players have price tags that are too high and many teams are waiting for those prices to come down. I'm sure the Yanks have signed some guys but so far there hasn't been much info available.

theres a mexican pitcher luis heredia that's 15 right now and is commanding 2-3 mil... Yanks might sign him if they can't sign their better prospects in the draft.

Yeah there has been a lot of positive info about that kid, but there is always so much misinformation out there with these guys especially the younger ones you just never know what to believe. It still seems like teams are waiting for his demands to come down, which may be because they don't think hes worth it or just because they think they can get their way. We'll see, but he sounds like the prize of the class this year.

the yanks have done an absolute great job in the mexican league. aceves, banuelos and maybe this kid...

a lot of their big signings in the IFA have worked out lately too...
