well that did it.. runners on second and third and one out.. jeter whiffs and swisher whiffs for the 3rd time..

other than A-rod... this team can't hit with runners in scoring position of late it seems..

game over.. I'm out...

way to come back!!

Thames with a huge night.. big homer in the 8th to bring us within one and then the go ahead RBI..

Good pitching by kerry wood..

Great pitching by rivera late.... man on third and no outs, got three big outs.. Josh hamilton being the biggest out...

Berkman with a huge walk in the 9th, and the yankees speed on the bases with gardner and grandy was huge...

We needed this game.. the rangers left the park last night as if they won game 1 of the WS.... I wanted to put these fools in their place.. huge come back win down 6-1 to cliff lee..

16 yankee strikeouts... ouch..

Is this a bigger comeback than the comeback in LA vs the Dodgers?

Great win. Without Teixiera, the Yanks needed to show they could win. Texas is no joke with Lee.

And with all the complaints about Granderson, is A-Rod going to reach 20 home runs?
