It's only a minor league deal and I doubt if Cashman is finished. Maybe he'll go after 4-5 reclamation projects, and if one of them makes it, he's ahead of the game.

Colon may qualify as 2-3 of those all by himself. :lol:

But yeah that may be what Cashman is thinking.

Maybe it's just me but didn't Colon's career start to nose dive right after the Yankees embarrased him that playoff series?

Pharmcat, werent you clamoring for cashman to sign as many reclamation projects earlier this off-season? Yet when we do, you're dissatisfied for some odd reason I can't figure out. What were you expecting? These are low-risk high-reward moves, the ones you were begging for and now you seem so unappeased.

Maybe colon pitches well or even garcia does well, they are just their to bide time for the youngins to get going in the minors and then be brought up when they are clicking on all 4 cylinders.
