Yanks vs Jays

Post#1 » by TKF » Tue May 24, 2011 2:18 am

Series the yanks should take..

Bad start tonight. Colon with a 5 run inning killed us..

what is it with yankee pitchers and big innings?

Posada batting .177 is just killing us... you can't hide someone hitting that bad, I don't care where you bat him in the lineup...

You can go up and down that line up and a lot of guys should be hitting better than they are. Yanks need at least two platoon players to rotate with the older crop. The good news, Gardner is starting to get untracked.

As for Colon, I thought he pitched pretty well. He just missed his location a couple times and Toronto made him pay. Still Colon gave the Yanks some length.

Any word on Hughes? Y'know I am not even hoping for him to be a starter this season but to help keep the pen from burning out.

is there a team in baseball that bounces into more double plays than the yankees.. A-rod and then Jeter tonight, just rally killing double plays... I just knew in that 7th inning jeter would bounce into a DP, even if the pitcher tried to intentionally walk him, he would find a way to bounce into a DP..

cano starting to heat up, and russel martin has been a blessing.. but we have to get rid of some of this dead weight out of the lineup...

and our pitchers need to avoid the big innings.. from CC to nova to Burnett and colon...

how big has granderson been this year.. not just the homers, but defense and clutch hitting.. big hit in the bottom of the 9th with two outs to tie the game... where would we be without him? the trade is looking much better now..

Jays shouldn't have even been in the game. Handful of bloop hits, Cano dropping that ball...but hey, a win is a win.
