Yanks @ Oakey A's

Post#1 » by Dr. Detfink » Mon May 30, 2011 10:26 pm

As Bill Simmons via twitter is flipping out over Colon putting in another 8 innings, I gotta ask...wouldn't MLB be testing this cat like every start by now? MLB has nailed a few guys including Manny. Not a word and we're into June...so while I was highly suspicious and continue to be...if the test comes back negative well then that's the test's fault.

Still, the Yanks need every win after dropping two angonizing close ones against Seattle.

Carry on boys...

It is mind boggling how well Bartolo has been pitching. I know it's still extremely early, but this is nothing short of a rebirth.

yea, we have been through our share of reclamation projects, from the once fireball throwing Jaret wright, to kerry wood.... those guys came back, but they didn't have the4 "stuff" the hard stuff they had earlier..

colon has come back, and it is not like he is getting guys out being freddy garcia crafty. He is throwing tic tacs... mid 90's stuff with movement... just amazing.

A Yankee sweep complimented by the White Sawx sweeping the Red Sawx was much needed!
