With so many Yanks hitting the DL, starting pitching and a closer is all this team has but it's nice to see an aging offense finally explode.

great win

on a side note, very disappointed phelps wont start tomorrow, and some journeymen gordon will....i dont understand how cashman runs these prospects, whats wrong for 1 to get a whiff of how the majors are like? why does he shelter them so much?

Oh what do you know, Jeter is finally out of the top of the lineup and we put up 12 runs in back to back games......

With Jeter, the Yanks put up a lot runs vs the Indians taking 3/4 who has 3 less losses than Texas.

Try AGAIN, you hating Fraud of a fan. Is it possible that I can't stand this whining sub fan base of Yankee fans who whine every time they aren't in first place by 5 games this early.

Only roughly 90+ games left in the season guys...let's NOT pin the donkey with ONE player. That's what the Knicks forum does. Be MORE man than those jack offs. It's the Yankees. You'll NEVER have a better franchise. Their worst day is STILL better than 96% of MLB franchises.

Umm who's whining? I know the peaks and valleys of the game of baseball and understand them more then you know..

I'm just pointing out the fact that Jeter only bats leadoff because of his name and not because of production. This all stems from a fanbase that thinks we owe it to these players because they won 5 world series with us. Baseball is a game of what are you doing for me now, and Jeters .260 BA with a .324 obp and .690 slugging are by far the worst of any leadoff hitter in the game. Add in the fact that he has the highest groundball rate of any player in the mlb and and lowest ba with risp, i think he shouldn't be at the top of the lineup.

Just pointing out the facts that people hate to realize.....
