Jorge Posada Appreciation Thread

Post#1 » by Dr. Detfink » Fri Oct 7, 2011 1:34 pm

One of the worst players running the bases and gold standard for bone headed decisions but nonetheless, Jorge Posada was a warrior through out his career in terms of endurance and numbers as a catcher.

During the playoffs when every one had dirt on his grave he was way more valuable than A-Rod or Teixiera...while I welcome in the youth of Montero & Romine to the position....bless this man. Think about all the problems Joe Mauer has and yet, throughout Posada's career he was a rock.

Good luck Jorge. Thank you for all the memories. Hip-hip! Jorge! 8-)

I will miss him, at least he went out having a strong series... the years behind the plate take its toll.. he still had a great career, made a lot of money and has 5 rings... 5!!! and was a key part to ever last one of them.. not many players can boast that

Thanks Jorge!!!
