Kuroda pitching well. Difference is, Yanks can't string it together. Might have to attack the pen.

Darvish looks legit.

People were saying Nova is a fluke too based on his advanced stats...and we are still waiting for his "luck" to run out.

I think that is a bit too early to say... seems like yanks could not figure him out tonight.. Kuroda wasn't bad at all as well... can't wait until we face Darvish the second time around.. might be much different...

Objectively, Nova's a ~3.7-8 ERA pitcher that benefits from a good defense (should be ~4 ERA pitcher on a team that provides average defense) and gets more "wins" than he should because he plays for a good team. Back of the rotation starter.

Yanks tend to succumb to first time looks. Remember when Scott Baker made them look feeble. Next time around, uh-uh.

On a road game and possibly his last start, Philip Hughes stands today in a pivotal third game. For an early April series, so fat I have enjoyed every minute of every game mostly as a barometer reading of where the Yanks are. I think they're fine with their rate of progression. To me, they are 3-1-1 and can stretch it to 4-1-1 per series with a win today.

But I did think to myself....what if Cashman went after Darvish? We know "bean counter" Hal put the Clamp on the Yanks budget...Yu with Pineda, Nova...and the rest of the Yanks young arms. It would be a killer rotation that you wouldn't need to overspend for 5-6+ yrs.

yu is good but the yanks did as they always do lately which cost them a win yesterday by not hitting in the clutch. I wanna see how yu does as time goes on cause as teams start to get farmilar with him he could easily start getting rocked

he throws 7 pitches and can hit 96 on the gun, maybe if cashman watched scouting videos instead of being busy cheating on his wife he wouldve noticed that

I feel bad for Hughes but enough, put him in the bullpen where he belongs.

You can't be a starter with 1 pitch.

Yep, I think it's safe to say he is no starter. Try and salvage what's left of his confidence...
You gotta make it sexy! Hips and nips, otherwise I'm not eating.

And this is why pitching is so valuable, the bust potential is through the roof.

Joba, Hughes...if Pineda can come back it will be huge.
